In my direct relationship with the composer Carovani, I witnessed the manifestation of a strongly above average intelligence, with impressive mnemonic and deductive skills to be translated, always at a very young age, into effervescent refined music, full of a taste well balanced between its qualities intellectual and high sensitivity of cellist. No one would have shouted at the scandal by defining the 17-year-old Cosimo a true prodigy of the composition. Hand in hand, but perhaps with a stronger connection to his unconscious, the cellist Carovani showed he had no limits, no technical / expressive barrier that could slow his growth.

Obviously his path had an ascent from many perspectives, but as a cellist I considered Cosimo, from the first impact with his talent as an instrumentalist, a professional ready for any test. This aspect is strange, but I have no memory of a Cosimo apprentice who is able to miss a step. I only remember a musician who can do anything. The perfect ally to enlist in the most difficult battles. And so it was, especially in events where for my music, supported by great performers, he always looked for Carovani's cello as his first choice. Today Cosimo has kept every promise related to his prodigy ... indeed he has gone much further, because the exceptional musician is joined by a mature personality and a wisdom that makes him a special human being.

His curriculum impresses and constantly increases his professional growth. It is no coincidence that fate wanted him to become the cellist of one of the quartets I most respect, the Indaco Quartet, which I have followed and followed for years even before Cosimo's integration into the group. I expect great things from him. As a friend and admirer, I know that your mission in the world of music will have very important consequences, fortunately for us. "
